Our service offerings are tailored financial structuring solutions that are dedicated to providing peace of mind and value-add wherever possible.

Our asset management business offers specialist investment management focusing on innovative investment products, retirement and collective investment portfolios. Mandates are managed on a core-satellite approach, utilising a combination of indexation (passive fund management), alternative investment strategies and active asset allocation.

We serve both the retail and institutional markets with fundssuitable for direct investors, independent financial advisers and wealth managers, discretionary investment managers, asset consultants, retirement funds, and corporate treasuries.

Bespoke financial structuring solutions.

The business is driven by Pankie Kellerman, who has a unique combination of accounting, law (taxation and commercial), asset management and financial services skills. Within financial services, the regulatory environment as it pertains to life assurance, short-term insurance, banking, asset management and collective investments schemes has provided opportunities for the development of unique structuring solutions.

Historic financial solutions include commercial property transactions, asset-backed lending and transactions associated with foreign exchange.

Financial Engineering was also responsible for the design of the Gryphon Dividend Income Fund, a collective scheme investment product, which provides the investor with income in the form of dividends. This product which at one point was the fastest growing collective scheme product ever launched in South Africa, bears testimony to Gryphon's purpose-driven approach to investing and investment solutions. The continued evolution of products of this nature requires involvement from Financial Engineering as new instruments are sourced to accommodate fund inflows.

The pricing structure that we offer is completely transparent. As an independent transition provider, we offer clients the best execution capability that matches their requirements. A combination of flow trading (dark liquidity), algorithmic trading and niche relationships allow Jaco and his team to tap into the correct trading capabilities to ensure that the client’s needs are served.
